ANNUAL ORCA PLANT SALE!

Saturday, May 12th 10am-4pm

on S. Edmunds St. one block west of Rainier Ave. S.

The Orca Elementary School Plant Sale, held annually on the day before Mother's Day, is a Columbia City Community tradition!   Inexpensive plant starts, garden crafts, coffee and baked goods are all on sale.  Orca students dressed as

butterflies will sell raffle tickets for an antique quilt and other great prizes.  All proceeds support essential programs at Orca, including its award-winning garden.

*Area Master Gardeners will be on site to answer your gardening and plant care

questions.

*Buy vegetable and herb starts planted by Orca students.  Get a head start on

your edible garden-- buy organic!

*Give a hanging basket of mixed summer color to Mom for Mother's Day.

*Select from a variety of garden and art accessories created by Orca students

and community members, including decorated stepping-stones, colorful birdhouses, and painted clay planters.

*Plant a fruit or ornamental tree in your yard or parking strip now, and enjoy

the fruit and shade it provides for years to come.  Fight global warming!
