Welcome to the Orca Garden
Our award winning garden is like a beating heart at the center of our school - it is a unique and essential part of our identity. Generally, our garden curriculum follows the rhythms of the season, providing students the opportunity to participate in garden maintenance and observe nature's cycles.
Whether using the garden to study ecology, math, writing, art or simply having it be a place for kids to decompress, our garden is an essential learning tool at Orca.

Orca Giving Garden 2006-07!
The Giving Garden is a project that was started in the Orca Children’s Garden last year. Through a partnership with Lettuce Link, we have set aside a garden plot to grow produce for a local food bank. This year, the Giving Garden project blossomed with the help of Phi Ho's 3rd graders and Ms. Tanisha's 2nd graders!

Tomato Care and Information

9th Annual Orca Elementary School Plant Sale
Tell all your friends! The last Orca Plant Sale at Columbia will be taking place on Saturday, May 12th from 10:00am until 4:00pm. Join the festivities...come for food, music, raffles, and all your veggie starts for the season, plus tons and tons of tomatoes!
